Breaking news: Jeff Gordon is coming out of retirement to pilot Dale Jr's 88 car at Indy this Sunday and for the next race too.

This week, it's off to the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 400 miles and the bragging rights where a driver can say that they've won at one of America's oldest raceways.  It's a flat 2.5 mile that's more of a rectangle than an oval.

Jeff Gordon is back as a wheelman and this will be Tony Stewart's last trip here as a driver before he heads into the sunset.  Can one of these two do it? Tony's got a good shot as he qualified 3rd and a good qualifying is really important as it's hard to advance from the back of the field.

My pick: With the Hendrick engines struggling, I'll pick Kyle Busch the pole sitter.

Martin Truex Jr. Is the pole sitter for the second trip to the tricky triangle that is Pocono.  3 corners, 3 different angles and banks, makes for one unique challenge for drivers and crew.

After a really rainy two days and a race that didn't go the full distance due to heavy fog, Chris Buescher ended up on top as he earned his first trip to victory lane in the Sprint Cup Series.

Denny Hamlin wins his first career road course race.

Tonight, it's the Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.  500 laps on the world's fastest half mile under the bright lights provides thrills and frustration for the drivers.  It's a Joe Gibbs Racing front row as Carl Edwards is the pole sitter and Denny Hamlin starts P2.  Kyle Busch starts P3, so the 3 of the 4 Gibbs Toyotas sure nailed it in qualifying.  Who will survive the carnage and escape with the victory? We will find out soon enough.

My pick: I'll roll with five time Bristol winner and driver of the 41 Chevy, Kurt Busch to get Stewart-Haas Racing back in the W column.
