Well, two spoiled games... and that was nearly all we got!
Check and Cliff we all pretty well saw coming a mile away. Squeeze drew seven picks, so it wasn't key, but it also wasn't anywhere near a consensus pick. Danger was a solo pick, so $50,000 goes into Schfifty's coffers as the only one to pick it. And then there's
Maude Freeze and Hi-Lo, which both ended up SANDBAGs.
On top of the unusual (or at least unexpected) lineup of games, we also had the unusual event of having not one but TWO non-car-for-car games on the same day, Squeeze and Cliff. Wayo used his last NCFC pick of the season successfully on the latter, so there's a nice hundred grand in it for him - but who takes the lion's share of the $429K+ total pot?
Well, only one player picked all four of the non-SANDBAG games today, and that was Schfifty, putting up 8/22 for third place. Prizes lands the runner-up spot with 10/14, squeaking her way up there despite the low CP-to-MP ratio. But your winner was ahead of both of the other medalists, all the way at 12/32, and that winner is Torgo! He 4-MP'd all three of the games he correctly picked.
Here are the complete totals for the week. Everyone walks away with some cash except Vader, who busted on his ALL-IN bid. And everyone walks away with some MPs except Teddy, who would have won if we were playing the Thursday Prediction Game this week - three of his chosen games were played yesterday.
Anyway, we're on the usual seven-day break (or six, or however you want to call it). Back next week with the April Fools' Special.
NOTE: This week's pot and Play-Along cash both included the $1,000 "loser awards" in the segments where they applied, because I felt that was more appropriate than simply discarding them. Either way, it was an awkward as hell gimmick and I hope they trash it.
