Having just seen the new race game curtain in person yesterday, I have to say it looks really awesome!

It mainly incorporates prop items from numerous pricing games and other items of the show into one cool collage.  The colors draw heavily on the background/spiral colors on the current big doors.

PIR85, we ask that you not comment on the day's new episode in The Talk Is Right until 10:00 P.M. Eastern.  People are supposed to be able to browse this forum all day without having details of the show spoiled.

(And yes, I know I just did that a couple threads down...but mentioning that a reaction still was shown after one of the games is a little different than flat-out saying what one of the pricing games was.)

Sorry, Steve.  I knew that rule and totally neglected it.  I'll keep that in mind next time.

Thanks to a "Price" staffer, I have a photograph of the new Race Game drape.

Enjoy.

OH. MY. GOD.

That is beautiful.  I just got some snaps from the weeks shows...guess I don't need to put them up!

(Bonus question:  What's wrong with the picture? One thing stood out at me.)

Answer to bonus question:
I think you are talking about the showcase podium.  It has the 70s/80s design, not the current design.

Answer to bonus question: in Secret X, an X would not be placed to the right of the second question mark in order to win. Am I right?

It looks like you are right, Marco.  I guess there can be more than one answer.

PriceGuy:  I noticed that too...but not what I saw.  I'm actually glad they used the 83-03? podium design instead of the current design.

Marco:  That would be a legal play of Secret "X".  There is a difference between "legal" and "smart/correct". :)

Hint to what I'm referring to...Think about orders.

CORRECT!

The correct order would be 25, 90, 5, 100, 15.  They have 35 instead of 15.

And all the things represented are (from left to right):

Big Wheel
Plinko Chips
Hans (from Cliffhangers)
Secret "X"
Dice Game
Grand Game (I'd assume from the $10K sign?)
Pocket Change (from the cent/ten cents/fifty cents/$1 thing?)
Barker Dollar? (with the $ coin)
Pathfinder (digits)
Nametags
Clock Game
Showcase Podiums
Pushover
Pathfinder Small Prize Podium
..and lots of G-T stars.

Awesome.. I can certainly say this is one of the TPIR set/prop changes I've been very pleased with (even with the few small mistakes).

And the nametag with "BOB" on it? Priceless!

I think I see a box from Half-Off (the one with the 5 on it, under Bob's nametag).

Are those objects on the far top-left and top-right the displays from Five Price Tags?

Anyone know what that tall object is sticking out from the $10,000 design?  It looks like a baseball bat hitting a ball that leads to Bob's nametag!  And that curly blue arrow in the right corner?
