I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

According to http://www.tpirsummaries.8m.com/ this was the closest Card Game win since 5/17/01(season 29) when a contestant was only $40 away.  I wonder if anybody in earlier seasons was exactly right or at least closer.

Brought this up in the chat today, but that stat isn't right from above; $5 is the earliest known, from S29 onward, on 1/17/07. Drew's personal record, previously, was $164 difference, on 2/16/12. This was also the last playing (by airdate) of the old set, before Carey's Card Club.

This is not correct; that playing was a $5 loss and this is in fact the best win in Card Game since Season 32.

Drew's personal record, previously, was $164 difference, on 2/16/12.

But this is correct and the second sentence in the recap is wrong.
"The most famous game on The Price is Right is Plinko..." "Which I don't get, honestly."

Thanks, it's been fixed.

I don't know what baffles me more now that this episode has finally aired -- that Stack the Deck was played two shows in a row or that Side by Side was played three shows in a row.

There's just no comparison. Two shows can be worked out, but three shows is absurd.
