I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

An okay show today, but there were a couple of exciting moments that stick out. Gas Money second was definitely shocking, and probably more shocking than being played on back-to-back weeks (which I believe occurred last season as well). I wish she kept going and picked the 19k tag instead of quitting...I did not think the Forte LX would go that high. I'm also surprised there were two 1P games in the same half (not counting ones occasionally played for cars). When's the last time that happened?

Second half was mostly "meh", but Time is Money was really good. Is that not the highest partial win since the game came back?

The very 1st playing since it came back ( Last Season Premiere ) had a player win $19,438.

What a great win in Time is Money.  Melvin definitely knew what he was doing.  I bet he could have won Pay the Rent.

Easy setup in One Wrong Price.

Disappointing Lucky Seven today, not helped by a super-hard setup.  Guess they were making up for last night.  :p

Pretty fun contestants all day, which is always nice.

Thanks for the kind words. I told Drew that I do all the grocery shopping at home. So I had a really good idea what the prices were. When I got it wrong on the first try I remembered that when I play at home, I always incorrectly think the Oxy Detergents are more expensive. I knew I had to switch that. Then I realized how much I won and lost my mind!

Congratulations, Melvin!  It definitely sounds like there's a loyal friend and true in our midst!
