I would just like to say that Drew singing the beginning of the 1812 Overture when the first price was revealed in Most Expensive was one of the funniest Drew moments I've ever seen. It made me laugh out loud!

Didn't he just make this joke on a 1812 OB last week?
S46... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Yes, after the first price of $18,012 was revealed in TTM.

The reason I remember this so well is because 1812 appears in my license plate number.

Nice $8,000 win today in Pass The Buck, one of my favorite games. Always good to see the suspense created by risking something on a second or third pick. (I wish the contestant had earned all three. :)

My wife Loi and I attended this taping.  This is the morning taping on Tuesday March 22nd, 2016 (afternoon taping was the Big Brother special).  Right off the bat, Drew's entrance through the big doors was reshot.  Darlene (the Shell Game player) was picked as a result of her interaction with Drew during the 1st commercial.  She was trembling and crying, but managed to get onstage to get Drew to sign her T-Shirt.  She lives in Daphne, AL (just east of Mobile) and was there on vacation.  We were all heartbroken that she did not make to the showcase.  Morgan and her mother were staying in the same hotel as us, so we got to interact with them a little bit.

Most Expensive was reshot.  The ATV had to be moved into the right position while George had to reread the description.  Also, that reveal was an add on.

I had a hand in Bailee's win in Balance Game. Most of the audience wanted to put 7 or 8 thousand on the trip to Alaska, but I was able to convince her little brother and father (who sat 2 rows behind us) that it was only a trip to Alaska, so 5 thousand was right, much to the dismay of the audience.  Unfortunately, I was not able to convince Bailee's family to bid more on her showcase.  I told her brother to bid at least $25,000... but even then that would not have been good enough.  My in-studio bids for the 2 showcases $25,000/$26,000 (I would have painfully WSD).  All in all, it was a great show to attend.

I wished Bailee would have won - Walla Walla, where she's from, is just around 50-60 minutes from where I live.

Always good to see Pass the Buck, even if the car isn't won. And a car win to kick off the show is always nice to see.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

If I remember correctly, I think they have a contestant lists that they go by. If somebody more interesting shows up, they bump the list down. I was so certain that a girl in the big softball team (the ladies in the pink in the middle rows) was picked. Even after Stan finished with the interviews, he was observing people in studio.

I wish she had done better too.  I grew up in a small town roughly 80 minutes from there. But it's always fun to see young people get something cool.  (Love the Cougars flag, btw!)

On the subject of partial wins:
Could those be summed up after the Showcase as a .5?  As in, "4.5 out of 6"?  That's especially true of Plinko, a game that no one has ever won the maximum possible payoff.

Speaking of numbers, the showcase winner's difference was $1,923, and Bob Barker was born in 1923...
