The Haier kitchen appliances have been showing up frequently in the showcases lately, but their ARP is unknown. I decided to use SC2 from 5/30/2016 to find an ARP. We know the Dart in that SC is $18,880 from past shows. We don’t know the price of NYC @ Roosevelt Hotel with only daily breakfast, but the same trip with 1 gourmet picnic added on was seen on 4/19/2016, and it cost $6,836. I will use an estimated price of $6,800, and subtract that and $18,880 from $31,502 (the ARP of that showcase) to get an estimated price for the kitchen appliances of…$5,822.

I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

Holy crap, nobody posted about this episode?  I thought a fantastic show like this one would have garnered tons of comments.  Drew was really on his game (and was funny even during the couple of times he knew he'd blown something), almost everything was won, there was a one-horner in One Away, the contestants were fantastic (and, in a couple of cases, seemingly Samoan), and for cripe's sake, we even damn near got a Train Depot showcase!  What the heck does it take to get a decent discussion going around here anymore?

For what it's worth, they were really overtime during the second half.  I still forget sometimes that they're willing to do things now like editing out the rules of 1 Wrøng Price -- I thought for sure the last game was going to be Double Prices.

(And yes, I really am this far behind.)
"Every game is somebody's favorite." -- Wise words from Roger Dobkowitz.

There have been several solid shows this season that have gone with minimal comments. Not to get too off-topic, but the site sometimes goes with only a handful of posts a day on a new show - it is what it is nowadays.

95% of SCs are so bad and nondescript nowadays that it's hard to get too excited about using the train. I mean it was nice, but for some boots and a plasma to Nashville, meh.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...
