Divisional Round Locks

Seahawks sneak away with a close victory over Atlanta (Falcons are 1-4 in the playoffs when Matt Ryan's been the starter)

Patriots wallop the Texans (I think they essentially got a second bye week)

The well rested Kansas City Chiefs topple the Steelers (Andy Reid coached teams are 4-0 after a bye in the playoffs, and I believe the trend will continue)

Luck runs out for Dallas as Aaron Rodgers and the blazing hot Packers humble the Cowboys

2-2 in the picks last week, I hope I do better this week.

Consensus with the experts at ESPN have Atlanta, New England and Dallas favored. They're split on Pittsburgh and Kansas City.

If it goes through--and barring somebody from San Diego doesn't make a last minute attempt to buy the team from the Spanos family to keep it in town--it would be disappointing to a loyal fanbase, but perhaps inevitable at this point.  At least San Diego city officials did try their best.  Now as an Eagles fan personally, this becomes an interesting development, as the team is scheduled to visit both the Rams and Chargers next season, so hopefully the head of league's scheduling office will be generous enough to put the two games in question either directly back to back or at opposite ends of the schedule for traveling convenience.

From what I saw concerning the Pro Bowl that it's going back to the AFC vs.NFC format.

The Steelers-Chiefs game originally scheduled for Sunday afternoon has now been moved back to Sunday night due to an ice storm in the forecast.

Blech...

0-1 to start the weekend and my team got dismantled.

Time to jump on the Chiefs wagon for the rest of the season.

Keep treating the Falcons like underdogs and we will win Super Bowl 51.
I got to live my lifelong dream on December 19, 2023.

Green Bay should easily beat the Falcons.  GB is unstoppable right now.   Rodgers is having possibly the best playoff performance in NFL history.

I think it'll be close but Green Bay will prevail. Aaron Rodgers just keeps finding ways to win.
