WINS SHOES

As is typical with Rat Race, the prices of the shoes and car were not revealed, but lucky for me, we know the price of the shoes from a past episode - $2,760 (5/23/16 [Daytime] Do the Math). Although it wasn’t won, for the curious, the Focus S with automatic transmission costs $19,195 per Ford’s website.

Jamie has won $33,228 in prizes! (Note: Her total winnings are shown as $33,x27 on the podium, with Drew blocking off the 3rd digit, but I believe they made a typo with the last two digits. Why? Subtract the $28,468 showcase, $1,500 IUFB and $500 perfect bid bonus, and we get a price of $xx59 (xx = 25-34) for the shoes. The problem is, I don't quite think 4 pairs of shoes are going to add up to a price ending in 9, especially considering Jimmy Choo's website has all of their pumps' prices ending with either 0 or 5 and no cents.)

Pricing games won: 3 out of 6 (+1 partial win)

Total winnings: $92,175

And with that ends both Season 44 and my tenure as recapper. Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who has assisted me throughout my tenure, and all of the readers of my recaps. If someone else keeps doing the recaps after me, I wish them luck.

If you didn’t know by now, Season 45 starts on September 19th.

I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

Perhaps a good episode to end a tenure, with plenty of cash won.

Now we just gotta find some good deals to spend it on. :P

Pretty obvious setup today in Grand Game.  Yvette got lucky she won despite looking to the audience for help.  The cash winnings today(2 perfect bids and a $26,000 winner on the big wheel) were a great way to close out the season.  While we end this season with 4 perfect shows(most since I don't know when) we also end with 4 skunked shows and unfortunately only 1 DSW.  As for pricing games only 3 went winless this season(Grocery Game, Punch a Bunch, and Time is Money) but 2 of them at least had some stuff won as it's possible to win some but not all things in those games.

Wasn't Punch a Bunch won in the Survivor Primetime episode though?

Primetime shows don't count.
"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

I was surprised that this episode didn't have much Young and the Restless related material other than the guest stars during Grand Game and the Showcases. Considering it was a show celebrating Y&R's 11,000th episode, I thought there was going to be a little more.

Very easy Grand Game setup. It's pretty rare nowadays for the four items to choose to be a slam dunk. The dressing was the only product I thought might possibly be a trap.

Thank you Tpirfan2000 for your hard work with the recaps. Good luck with school and your other projects.
