It's nice that we're getting a 5/6er this early. The setups weren't too hard for the most part, other than Push Over (I was expecting the trip to be 13 or possibly 17, it showed up all the time in showcases last season) and probably the last car in Triple Play (for me, it was a tossup between 21 and 23 due to the added paint & fabric protection, 24 seemed like too much).
The amount of obvious editing present throughout Triple Play was rather annoying. It just sucked much of the excitement out of it.
Why do they continue revealing trips on the turntable wall? As seen today before Bonkers, the contestant is facing away from it, so it looked very awkward.
I'd complain about all of these "1 prize followed by a luxury car" showcases, but the appearance of some classic cues definitely made up for it today.
And I knew today's lineup seemed familiar while I was watching the show...compare today's lineup to the lineup for December 21, 2015 (last season's Triple Play win):
12/21/2015: Cliff Hangers, Coming or Going, Triple Play, Bonkers, Pass the Buck, Most Expen$ive
09/21/2016: Push Over, Triple Play, Cliff Hangers, Bonkers, Pass the Buck, 1 Right Price
Has there ever been a playing of Pass the Buck, with a $9.99 starting price for a Grocery item, as one of the guesses?
Not sure if I understand your post completely, but
Pass the Buck's previous playing (June 7, 2016) had the exact same MidNite sleep aid.
