I think it was neat that they had a weird variant of "The Cats" playing while the prizes were being described in Switch?
...that "Weird variant" is the remix they've been playing for 3 years.
Interesting difference in today's "Hot Seat" playing vs. the one aired during Premiere Week. Instead of moving the contestant to a prize and then asking for their decision to stop or play on, they required the contestant decide whether or not she wanted to continue before revealing which prize was next. This makes the game harder, IMO. If you move me in front of the blender and then ask me if I want to quit, I might be more or less inclined to go for it based on my confidence of my choice on that particular item.
I do hope they nail down one version or the other. With as loose as Drew hosts the game (although he did a FAR better job of explaining it today than on the previous playing) there's a possibility for that aspect to be handled arbitrarily, which might put some players at a disadvantage and not others.
/The set's grown on me a bit, but I still don't get the time limit.
