Hey, Jay, I think you should know that the total for today's episode is wrong because Ben's total is wrong where it says $765 instead of $1,765 because the item up for bids he won was $1,650, so the total won today needs to be $90,944.

Perfect show ruined by one of my least favorite pricing games of all time.

Second show this month in which the game played for a trip was the only one lost. :-?

Well yeah, there was also Pick A Pair from the other show played for a second trip, but still...

Over three hours have elapsed since the show ended, and my verdict remains undecided on how I feel about Secret "X"'s temperature theme, what with Iceland, a refrigerator, Coldstone Creamery sponsorship, an ice shaver and a digital thermometer all on display.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

When it comes to Let 'em Roll , when was the last time a Contestant went from rolling only 1 Car ( with 5 Dice ) to winning the car in the next roll?

5 games won, including an impressive Let 'em Roll win. And take a guess at which of the 5 games TPIR uploaded to their YouTube channel as today's highlight...

If you guessed Coming or Going, you are correct.
I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

That was indeed a great Let 'Em Roll win. But...

10 Chances! One of my favorite games! Would the contestant win the car on her last chance, after "wasting" (perhaps) a couple of her chances? Yes!! :)

By the way, I'm still hoping 10 Chances is played for a $50K-98K car someday soon. I'd still really like to see that.

I don't see any reason why 10C can't be a Dream Car game down the line, other than "hey there's a chance the contestant won't even play for the vehicle if s/he is bad, so we don't want that." But given its difficulty nowadays, it would fit as well as anything else...
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I think it's perfectly doable if they'd make the first two prizes easy for once. That means not putting a fake 5 on the first one, dammit!

Well, there it is -- Ten Chances has been played, and for what I think, barring some brief period between a debut and a retirement that I'm forgetting about, is the first time ever, there are 76 pricing games in the active rotation.

(And it only took almost 10 years to get there after More or Less made it 75 for the first time.)

For some reason, the cold-themed prize package in Secret "X" bothered me.  It felt like something that belonged in the Showcase.

Speaking of Secret "X"...I'm never going to call for its retirement or anything like that, but man was it depressing to have an otherwise perfectly-played game be the day's only loss.

Still speaking of Secret "X", you apparently can't attach the Xs to the red question marks.  I did not know that.

And on that note, just how are the Xs attached to the board anyway? I'd assume either magnets or Velcro, one of those two.

The ice themed prize package in Secret X was just odd. If they had the prize a kitchen set including the freezer along with the year supply of ice cream rather than the trip to Iceland it would've made more sense.

And finally 10 Chances is played so every game has been played at least once. Great win too, coming pretty much out of no where after the shaky start.

Has More or Less been a Dream Car game?

The Xs have Velcro on the back and the yellow squares are covered with cloth. The red squares are painted wood, which means the Xs can't adhere to them.
