Isn't this thread's purpose to post random obituaries?  I mean, yeah, some of them are obscure but at least it keeps the thread going.
Notable people will die this year, even if they aren't major like Mary Tyler Moore. Posts don't need to be manufactured because of a lack of deaths.

Thank you J for finding the words I couldn't. While I have no problem with someone being honored it becomes a little...ghoulish to search for deaths to keep the thread active.

The Animal was certainly one of the most entertaining personalities to step into the ring.  Both as hero and villain, he never failed to deliver; certainly his ill-fated but still commendable pursuit of Elizabeth was one of the great plotlines of the early Golden Age.  Lest we forget, he also had the honor of appearing in the very first Saturday Night's Main Event match of them all (ingloriously pinned after the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff abandoned him).

God rest you Ivan. And I agree with the article, it is a travesty that he's not already in the WWE Hall of Fame already. Maybe someday Vince will get his act together and induct him, but at the same time, too little, too late.

Side musing: I wonder if Bob Barker was influenced by any of Regan's works.

Fox News Radio host and commentator Alan Colmes has passed at the age of 66.

I'm going to miss him, as he was interesting to listen to, and his show was very good. :(
