NBA Hall-of-Famer Connie Hawkins; age 75. Initially banned from the NBA due to a college betting scandal, Hawkins played in the ABA and for the Harlem Globetrotters during the 1960's, before joining the Phoenix Suns in 1969, where he played four years.

New York Giants Hall of Famer Y.A. Tittle has passed on at age 90. More here from UPI.

I remember the photograph of him kneeling on the field bleeding. He must have been a tough customer. RIP.

Tittle also happened to be in one of the most famous photographs ever taken.  Rest in peace to a legend.

I just found out that Jimmy Beaumont passed away on October 7:

Not sure if anybody was a fan of Trailer Park Boys, but John Dunsworth (Mr. Lahey) died on October 16th at the age of 71.
