NBA Hall-of-Famer Connie Hawkins; age 75. Initially banned from the NBA due to a college betting scandal, Hawkins played in the ABA and for the Harlem Globetrotters during the 1960's, before joining the Phoenix Suns in 1969, where he played four years.

I remember the photograph of him kneeling on the field bleeding. He must have been a tough customer. RIP.

I just found out that Jimmy Beaumont passed away on October 7:

Not sure if anybody was a fan of Trailer Park Boys, but John Dunsworth (Mr. Lahey) died on October 16th at the age of 71.

Darn it. I was a big fan of the Benson TV show and I also remember him as Rafiki in The Lion King. RIP.
