Wow, I was thinking Check Game was won less than that. Not that 14 out of 33 is a great percentage though.

Also, I have to agree with Wayoshi about changing the Check Game range. If we are going to keep offering prizes in the $6k range, at the very least the range needs to be changed to $8k-9k if we want a better win ratio.
What do folks think about changing the range to one of the following:  $8,000-$10,000 or $8,500-$10,000 or $9,000-$10,000?  I think the top of the range needs to be $10k at this point.

It needs to be $8k-$10k, and it should've been changed a long time ago. There's no point in raising the range if they won't widen it.

I was saying 8k-9k as a temporary change if they keep playing this game this season, to give a higher psychological advantage to the player (citation needed) and not change the game too much this season. However, we do need increase the range soon, and 8k-10k seems like the best option, because of a wider and increased range.

With that said, I forget Check Game is still around at times given the show's preference for quick games, so when it does show up it would be nice if they could always set it up for a likely win and save the harder setups for the all quick games that get played more often.
Check game is one of the faster medium prize games, but I think that they still can alter the prize given, like a 4,999 mattress to make the game easier, or a $6,041 trip to make it harder. It would be nice if it was set up to be always won, but in reality, name four games set up to be always won. (I can only think of three. Clock Game if you use binary search, Now or Then if you know the technique, or Cliffhangers 20ish-30ish-40ish.)
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

Why do we need a temporary change? The first range change happened in the middle of Season 18 (and they changed Bullseye's around the same time).

10 Chances...plus Hit Me and Double Bullseye, if we're counting retired games.

10 Chances isn't quite a guarantee - even knowing the 0 at the end, there would still be 2 options for the first item and 6 for the second, leaving only 2 chances for the car.  That may not be enough, depending on the numbers given?

10 Chances was talked about above. For Hit Me, I don't think is a guaranteed win every time (But one of the easier games), and Double Bullseye... ew. You're right, but that's because someone had to win the game under the rules.

Also, I didn't realize the range changed mid-season for Check Game. So, the range needs to be changed to 8k-10k.

The range for Check Game has actually been in place since 2008. It just wasn't played from Season 38 until the end of Season 41.

All the more reason to increase the range. I was referring to the statement below when I said that quote:

The issue with a win in Check Game is that it requires you to give away cash. That can be incredibly draining on the budget, so I'd rather see it more often and have it lost than be too easy and limited.

The prize values in most 1-prize along with SP and GP games are higher than the potential amount given away in Check Game. They could increase the max value to $9,000-$10,000 and it wouldn't make a huge difference. If the contestant doesn't take the prize, then they're only giving the cash away.
