Welp.
"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

The final four is set!

South Carolina vs. Gonzaga (both teams in their first final 4)
Oregon vs. North Carolina (NC in their second straight final 4; Oregon in their first final 4 since 1939)

In the pool, usually this is the point where we write out all the scenarios of who can win the pool, but as is, it's actually very simple. If North Carolina wins the whole thing, William wins the pool. If ANY other team wins, Jess wins the pool. It's interesting the way it panned out this year, I've never seen it be that decisive with this pool at the Final Four, really.
Yeah...let's make this current shall we?

My guess is, everyone is either going to root for an all-Pacific Northwest (Oregon vs. Gonzaga) or all-Carolinas (Tar Heels vs. Gamecocks) final. Anything else would be a total letdown.

It won't be an All-Carolina finals as South Carolina is defeated by Gonzaga.

Congrats to both! And you know who I'm going with here, though I wouldn't get mad if John Stockton's alma mater ended up with the championship either.

Sweet redemption! For the second night in a row, a team from the Carolinas wins the national championship in basketball (South Carolina for the women, North Carolina for the men); and how's this for another coincidence? They had to beat teams nicknamed the Bulldogs to achieve the feat. Congratulations to them both! Cue the One Shining Moment song...

I was unable to watch the game but reading Facebook comments, a lot of comments  were about how bad the officiating was. Was it really that bad?  Nevertheless, congratulations to UNC.
