Bob Barker's record about to be broken

As most of you know, Bob Barker currently holds the record for hosting a single game show for the longest time period ever, 35 years. That's exactly how long Pat Sajak and Vanna White have hosted the nighttime Wheel of Fortune. I don't think they have any plans to retire as of yet, and that record will be broken by them next year.

And then Alex Trebek of Jeopardy will tie Barker for second next season, breaking it the one after that. Who knew that these two moments would ever come?

Alex already has the episodes-hosted record.  I don’t know how close Pat and Vanna are to Bob’s episode total.

When you factor in daytime Wheel as well, that record has already fallen.

And by that same token, Vanna's been there for more episodes than Pat has, since when he left the daytime show in January 1989, she stayed.
