Cliffhangers had a very nice, exciting win today.  Always fun to see Hans reach the edge.

Overall a decent episode, but not one of my favorites.

triple play: will anyone learn that aveos are cheap? look at last week's ler!
cliff hangers: $19 for a cookie jar? you forgot the increasing rule! she got plain lucky. i have seen that toaster before, and would have guessed $50.
bonkers: ugh! the peanut (gallery) is moldy! does anyone REALLY expect the last two digits to be lower than 3 and 2, respectively? use your head!
i got the last two right off the bat, and would have changed the first two around a bit. i would have gone LHHH or LLHH first, and won on the first two tries. but $2999? a weird price to use for bonkers.
owp: difficult. i thought the cart was wrong, but after considering what golf clubs usually go for on this show, i guessed those.
money game: 49? i was guessing 35. i thought there had to be paint sealant AND fabric protectant for the pst to work.
pap: difficult. i came up with several possible pairs, but arthur got unlucky.
showcases: i knew james was over because spain is not as expensive as the rest of europe, but i seriously underestimated the hilo trailer. it looks like the trailer was high today......

btw, i would like to know where to draw the line on "stupid" and "dumb" contestants, so that another incident does not occur.

That won't teach anyone anything.  I'm sure most viewers pay little attention to the price in games where the price doesn't matter, like Let 'em Roll.  We notice, sure, but we're obsessive fanatics, too !

Surprisingly, Triple Play was by far the least exciting part of this episode.  Margaret was clearly very excited, and I hate to say anything bad about her...but...well, it needs to be said -- there is no way that should have been lost on the first car.  Every person in the studio other than her knew what the right answer was.

Cliff Hangers, on the other hand, was very cool to watch.  It certainly wasn't the best playing ever, but I knew the price of the toaster and darn near had a heart attack when Marela (or whatever the heck her name was ) bid $47 on it, 'cause I knew at that point that the mountain climber was going to stop on 25.

Considering how much she looked at the audience, Tristan actually played Bonkers pretty well...until her last guess, which was just completely off the wall.  Frankly, at the point she was at with five seconds left, the game should have been won.

I was really surprised when James won 1 Wrong Price (although pleasantly so, because he seemed like a nice guy).  The golf clubs had the price I was most certain was right.

Money Game was amazing.  It was set up for both casual viewers and obsessive fans to lose it...at yet somehow, it was still won.

Incidentally, how many of you noticed that the Cobalt in Money Game was actually cheaper than the freakin' Aveo in Triple Play?

My God...Pick-a-Pair has actually been lost two playings in a row.  In all seriousness, when was the last time that happened?

His & Hers golf clubs.  Apparently, 'his' clubs and 'her' clubs don't have exactly the same price.  Which is understandable, I guess.
