Here are the results. Steve's remarkable bid on the trailer showcase is trumped by two DSWs on the living room/Spain showcase.

Robert, what happened to the "258" in your bids? It appears you don't do that anymore.

That's definately a record low number of players this season... not sure about all-time. :-)

So close and priceless, can't recall the last time someone was exactly $250 away from one showcase, but anyway, chief-O my congrats to you *shakes your hand*.

Decided that plan wasn't exactly working........plus, I disappointed myself when I went $1K higher and paid for it by a missed exacta.  So I decided to ditch the plan and went to a 258-variation plan (258 was still used, just not in that exact order).

That didn't work out as well (although it was an improvement), so I just open up the calculator in Windows, type in what I think is the price of whatever's up (which is always a wild guess, as I don't have time to write down the ARPs of the prizes in PGs due to other things that happen while I'm in chat), total 'em up, PM bid, no matter what the last 3 digits are (now I might add or subtract a couple of Gs depending on gut feeling).  I'm probably joining a big club doing this.  :-P

Chief-O wins an internet.

The last time anyone had a $250 difference, I believe, was early 2005 when someone hit the magic number on her 2-car Showcase. (What to do while waiting in traffic)

It was also a Wednesday
