Child's Play Observation
« on: July 29, 2017, 09:37:39 PM »
On one episode of Child's Play, Bill Cullen said they got letters asking for the show to add a play along factor by hiding the word or phrase contestants had to guess from the screen. In response, they started hiding it but only haphazardly for certain rounds.

Six years before on Double Dare, Alex Trebek would ask home viewers to look away from their television sets until they heard a chime if they wanted to play along. Wouldn't it have been easier for the staff have Bill Cullen do just that?
