Always nice to see a studio master quality and slate on an episode we haven't seen before (or in quite a while).

Looks like the Play Along feature came in earlier than expected so it looks like this needs a change in the timeline. Also interesting cue for the Play Along feature that I haven't heard either.

This also must have been the time where Botany 500 was dropped in Barker's wardrobe by this point and also no longer mentioned in the credits. Still trying to figure out when the exact change happened...

That's one of the cues from the "1972 Moog Reel", I believe one of the "sting" cues (weird to hear it in G major, considering that the TPIR theme is in F major).

I wonder what they were covering with that edited-in shot at 5:46.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the relative difficulty of plopping a sofa directly onto the floor of the turntable, especially when it barely fits in that space. In later years, they'd just say "forget it" and place the sofa on a dolly. Or, more likely, not try to cram a sofa onto the turntable in the first place.

Speaking of different staging choices, they put an area rug behind the doors and lowered golf clubs from the ceiling. That nearly turned into a bad idea when the golf clubs came down way too fast and hit the floor.

I'll leave it to others to discuss how Range Game played out.

Correction, I just double-checked, that's from the other 1972 Reel, cue is "1972 - Main Theme - Reveal with Bells" (not sure of the official cue number, but that's how it's listed in the TVPMM Vault listings.

Interesting how you could see "Now...and Then" sticking out from atop the turntable as Bob and Renee were walking back to Door #2 for Most Expensive. (My prediction was wrong--I actually thought it was Bullseye.)

Is this the only time give or keep was played for a car and won, was it played for a car again before it got retired?

Was trader Bob played for a car before it got retired?

If both pricing games were still part of the rotation, I wonder what the win/lose percentage would be?

This era's set looks so much better on a master tape than a 7th generation SLP tape dub.
They can be close at the top, too.
