hello all...

They did play original music cues when they celebrated Halloween back in 2011.

OK, unless I'm much mistaken, I believe most of the older cues ('72, '74, '76, '83, '94) were still in use throughout Season 36. When did they pretty much disappear (well, barring the one-offs like the disco party show, Decades Week, etc.)?
A lot of the older cues survived well into 37 and still quite a few were in use by 38, if I'm not mistaken. In S39, when I started watching regularly again, they still pulled out 200A for Race Game/Take Two, and a few times PHG for More or Less. MGHS was probably the longest surviving one. I forgot when it stopped being used, but it was fairly semi-regular through 40 and 41.

Me: Of all of the game shows you've hosted, besides Jeopardy!, like High Rollers or Classic Concentration, which is your favorite?
Alex Trebek: I'd have to say To Tell The Truth, because it was the first time in my career that I got to sit down while I was hosting.

Price is still using the tail end of 'The Feud' as the Grand Game fanfare.

Speaking of this, does anyone happen to know how long ago they edited out the last note of that sting?

A quick check seems to indicate the 2011-11-21 show was the last one: Wasn't there the next playing 2012-01-05 (Nor the subsequent playing 2012-01-16 (
