Does anyone remember this contestant?
« on: September 01, 2017, 01:32:13 PM »
I was watching a Judge Judy case on YouTube that was dated around 2006 or 2007, and the defendant, Brittany Sellers, went for spring break to be on the show. According to the plaintiffs, her parents, she got picked and won a bed that was worth about $5,000. Would anyone happen to remember this contestant or know the date of the episode that she was on, because I would like to find it.

Found it on the episode guide. Unfortunately, it was never posted to YouTube. I was hoping to find it there. But I did find out that her episode aired the day before the one with Jose, the guy who big $999 on an elliptical trainer and got the exact price.

I have no idea who you're talking about.

The clip's on YouTube under the title "The Price is Right Stupid Perfect Bid". Or you can watch the full episode, dated April 17, 2007.

Oh, of course.  That should have been totally obvious. :rollold:

Dude, seriously...you can't go around assuming that everyone is going to know who every contestant you mention is, especially with a description that amounts to "The guy who made a totally reasonable-sounding bid and was right."

Why do you have to be sarcastic about it.  I knew what Plinkomatic was talking about, yes it may not have been that specific, but you don't have to be sarcastic about it.  Why even post to the thread if your just going to criticize.

Why do you have to be sarcastic about it.

Because it was stupid.

I knew what Plinkomatic was talking about,

Well, bully for you.

yes it may not have been that specific,

It wasn't.

but you don't have to be sarcastic about it.

Actually, given that I was expecting a description of the incident and not a link to a random YouTube video that I would never in a million years have thought to look at, yeah, I kinda did.

Why even post to the thread if your just going to criticize.

I guess to inform you that "your" is a possessive pronoun and that your keyboard has a question mark on it.

If you want a description, I'd be happy to give you one. Is it what you want?

Thought I'd stop by after a few years away.  Just got reminded as to why I avoid this place, and why I'm not coming back.

Get over yourself.

Because it was stupid.

I'll see if I can be of some assistance. I believe it was a showcase, in which, a gentleman named Jose tried to bid $250,000 on. Hopefully I was helpful.

Edit: Nope that wasn't it.

I fully agree. Steve doesn't have to get hostile towards people. If that's the case, maybe he should be the one outta here. Not me.
