7974K - 09/01/2017 Recap Thread

Squeeze Play - Loss
Swap Meet - Win
Dice Game - Win
Double Cross - Win
Spelling Bee - Win (and a very close one!)
Check Game - Loss

Showcase 1 won, with a difference of $772.
Also featured something you don't see too often nowadays - an aired overbid in Contestants Row (during the fifth one-bid).
I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.

Pretty Good Show.
Very Good Game Lineup.
Hard setup in Squeeze Play , any of those prices look right.

an aired overbid in Contestants Row (during the fifth one-bid).

Feels like the Show also edited one from the 2nd IUFB as well.

Decent show. I only half paid attention, but I thought the Spelling Bee win was pretty good. Nice tension there, especially with beating the odds by getting 2 Rs.

Very nice Spelling Bee segment with Drew making the reveal of the last card dramatic and having the contestant reveal it. Definitely a highlight of today's show.

Why does Drew refer to Double Cross as a new game still? It debuted over five years ago. His talking about the pen in Check Game was a little awkward too.
