Looking for a new FPG Host: Active Search OPEN!
« on: September 14, 2017, 04:19:46 PM »
Hi there! As we draw closer to the premiere of Season 46, we'll be needing a host for FPG. That's where you hopefully come in. We'll need a sample game of work to best judge your thread. To apply, send me, therealcu2010, and SteveGavazzi your work in a private message, with the data source from any prior week last season, to show both how you would host, written, as well as how you would reveal the results for a given week, visually.

If you have any questions about this process, or what we are looking for, please let me know. The new host is expected to be found and named in a public thread by the end of September. No, FPG, will not start at the beginning of the season, for the pure reason of getting to know timings and rotations a bit better. When it does start, however, will be at the discretion of the host, who will make a thread announcing as much hopefully within the first week or so of October. Looking forward to seeing your work shortly! Best of luck, and here's to a fantastic bunch of applicants.

Guess that leaves me out, because I did not play at all last season, but I will definitely be ready for Season 46. Good luck to all who are applying, and may the best man win!

I know it's been a minute since auditions for this position occurred, but what happened with them? You mentioned that the host would be announced in early October and we're already halfway through the month.

We all want to see the game continue and we'd all like to know what's up.
Sometimes I do wonder.

Yes, I've been wondering the same thing: Has anyone auditioned at all? I'd hate to see this go the same route as the HYO, although my career certainly did go out with a bang in that department!

FPG will be continuing. Look for an announcement very soon!

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
