Couple notes:

1. Sorry for the delay, between making the Gridlock template and having an impromptu job interview, it took a while.

2. Yes, the fonts are wonky. That should be fixed soon. The link supporting the fonts went kaput between S43 and S46.

3. I love Gridlock, personally. Easy to understand car game that should be fun to play.

Glad to see the best recapper back in action again!

Any show with all five models in it is always great to watch, especially since it's a season premiere. While Gridlock suffered an unfortunate loss out the gate, I think it'll be a great car game that will absorb some playings from other quickie games like Money Game, That's Too Much! and Lucky $even.

Bob Barker, being the gentleman that he is, made a very nice gesture in sending Drew flowers along with a handwritten note of congratulations. While it's not the same as making an actual on-air appearance in one form or another, I'll take that gladly.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I found Gridlock! a bit underwhelming. It looked like it had potential to be a spiritual successor to Hurdles based on the pics, but the way the cars move is just...blah. There's no fun or suspense, just "pick a number and look at the screen to see if you're right." It would have been better if the player made both choices at once, then the cars travel down the track, joining together if they're right and stopping if they're wrong. Neat-looking set, but it looks like they completely whiffed the presentation.

Good to see you back Adam.  I had a feeling going was the right price for the trip.  Gridlock seems like a cool game.  I had a feeling 02 was right for the 1st choice as $33,000 and especially $39,000 seemed too high.  Also I would have guessed 70 for the last choice as it seemed right.   Just to let everyone know the 1st 4 contestant in the green podium was named Brandy not Randy.  I didn't think the 2nd showcase was that expensive.  Sometimes certain vehicles are tricky in price as they might be more or less expensive than they seem.

An Alright Season Premiere.

If anything , the Article this week kinda Spoiled what was gonna happen in today's Showcase Showdown.
Gridlock looks fun.
Based on the Size of the Monitor used to show the Price of the Car, I wonder if it can show a 6 Digit Price.

These Setups in CoG and Dice Game were Tricky.

I wonder how long of a stop in production it took to dry out Dwight's shirt... it was pretty damp

Gridlock seems fun. I don't recall Drew mentioning it, but ́t would seem the contestant is permitted two free wrong answers during play, before declaring a loss?

That'd be my guess, one mistake on each pair.

Looks like we worked out the issues with the fonts.  I just love "features" built into modern web browsers (Read: I hate it when the WC3 breaks the Internet).

Gridlock is no doubt a good quickie car game but it's presentation is lacking.

Gridlock is a good game. I wish Drew had explained it better beforehand, because I thought he had lost once he made his first mistake. The presentation of the price needs to be fixed too, because when it comes up there on the screen, I thought he had it right. Work out the kinks and it'll be a great game.

A pretty good premiere, I didn't even notice how much people were losing because it was fun. Drew has come a long way in 10 years. I appreciate hearing from Bob.

Here's my immediate problem with Gridlock...I have NO idea what the rules are!  This is kind of a big deal, right?

Does a player get one miss during the game, per pair?  Who knows. The game is fine...the shows needs short and snappy games, and hopefully this one allows That's Too Much a few less playings.

Loved the Colbert bit.

I like Gridlock! as it's a much-needed addition for a quick car game and it seems more interesting than the other quick car games. Hopefully it will take some of the load off of Lucky $even and That's Too Much!.

I wish all the rules were explained at the start of the game. While I'm sure we'll know the specifics in a later playing, it felt off that they mentioned allowing a mistake in the middle of the game. If I had to guess, I'm thinking it's one mistake for the whole game, like Add 'em Up. Having a mistake for each set seems like it would be too easy.
