What an episode. First we get a perfect show, and then a record-breaking and near unbelievable Showcase Showdown! Three $10,000 wins and then two $25,000 wins (and hence a spinoff after that). A triple-double!! Just... wow!

How are we going to go back to a "mere" $1,000 for getting a dollar after that? :)

Gamewise, a fantastic lucky win in One Away. I'm not a fan of the Double Prices prop redo, but it was a win at least.

Season 46 is off to a tremendous start.

I'll be that guy and make sure this isn't forgotten... what the heck with DP? Too many colors, too many patterns, and the two tags look exactly the same. DP is the simplest game, it did not need the busiest prop, geez. This is probably the most ridiculous and needless refurbishing of the bunch in the Drew era so far.

Interesting that they actually did have a cashless show on this premiere week. And no Grand... and no SP game today even. I think they were afraid of OA going really long as they sometimes are, but of course an entirely different segment took nearly 8 minutes instead. The editing actually was pretty decent - I was expecting a butcher job. They got lucky OA, Race and to an extent A# ran short.

That... was... mind blowing!! I honestly thought there was going be a triple triple, and let out the biggest groan when the wheel nudged the 0.05. Being in the audience for this must have been absolutely electric.

The new paint job on Double Prices is nice, not crazy about the price tags, but it deserved a facelift. (Btw, didn't it have a LCD screen during one of the Million Dollar Spectaculars? What ever happened to that?...)

Yep, this was a good one. :-)

I'm not a fan of the Double Prices paint job either. I realize the old paint job didn't fit the current set, but they didn't need to go this far for a simple game. At the least, the tags should have been different colors, as they always had been.

Now can Money Game's set be redone soon? And not look too busy?

Yeah, great show all around. I was fairly neutral about the Double Prices paint job, though on reflection I think I like the previous look for it more. Still, I figure it'll grow on me in time.

There's one word to describe today's show: WOW!
    Everything went right.

We had a Perfect Show ( 1st one since 4/18/16 ) , with great game play all around.
We had the greatest Showcase Showdown , in maybe , ever. The only way its going to be top is a Triple-Triple.
Unless they raise the Bonuses for the S.S. , that amount that was won on the wheel during it ($80,000) , is unbreakable under normal means ( Max you can win in one S.S. is $78,000 )

The new Design for Double Prices is Alright , nothing really stood out.
If anything , we went through a Premiere Week without a Big 3 playing.

Today's show just downright blew me away!!! Of course, the makeover of Double Prices leaves a bit much to be desired, but we shouldn't be making too much a fuss about it regardless. Right now, what matters more is that this is one episode that will go down in the history books for years to come!!! For more reasons than one.  :-D

Today's show made playing hooky from work completely worth it.

I was a little nervous about Wilbert playing Race Game.  He moved like he had bad knees or something, and I was worried that he wouldn't do well.  I guess if you don't run fast, you make sure you get everything right on the first guess so you don't have to.

The second S.S. was simply epic.  One more bite of Wheaties for Zacharia on his bonus spin and he'd have etched his name in the record books even more than he already did.

All I gotta say about this ep, in the words of Heffer from Rocko's Modern Life: "That was a hoot!" I've never seen such an exciting ep of TPiR in quite a while. :D

What a way to end an exciting week of shows!
