The man who produced the shows Gambit, Battlestars, High Rollers, Catch 21, and Wacky Races along with most notably, Hollywood Squares has departed this world at the age of 91 according to Wink Martindale's Twitter.

May he rest in peace.

Heatter (and Quigley) didn't produce Wacky Races. They were to have produced a live game segment where kids predicted the outcome of each of the races for prizes. CBS nixed the game segment but Hanna-Barbera gave Heatter-Quigley an on-screen credit anyway. It's widely believed that Heatter-Quigley still owned a stake in the characters.

Nonetheless, quite a loss in the game show world.
