CSS Results for 10/09/2017 (Game 15)
« on: October 09, 2017, 12:10:34 PM »
Hoo boy... count 'em today. SEVEN scores below 60, a failing grade. Over half the field under 70. Most of us got destroyed. Only Kev & I managed to avoid a GOTC. All the expensive prizes showed up today and seemed to add a few thousand each on top of it.

Literally 100% of the bids were garfs. On both SCs. I can't quite recall that ever happening before. Enjoy some cash Kev & Adam, and a good day for a Plinko doubler, UP, and let's see if things settle down tomorrow.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

...All in favor pretending this game didn't happen?

 :garf:

Also, could someone define MANX?
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

-thatvhstapeguy, Discord message, April 5, 2023

Well, at least it isn't a lot of overs. Right? Right?

Yeah, going to put this game down the memory hole.

Considering on the actual show that being way doesn't immediately eliminate you (though you generally do lose unless your opponent goes over or garfs it even worse like $20,000 on a $60,000 showcase), I agree

Shiggles bids from home: $45,251/$41,251

...so yeah, would've cashed on 1 and won had I actually played. :(
I hadn't really thought about this before, but the reality of death means that every day there are less people in the world than the day before.  In reality there are many more people in the world than this but for illustration: If one day there are 1000 people in the world and the next day 55 people die, now there are 945 people in the world. if 30 more die the next day now there are 915 people in the world. So we'll eventually become extinct as will all creatures as the same reality applies to dogs, cats, horses etc.
