Nice win in Cliff Hangers, and kudos to Catherine for winning a potentially evil Push Over! However, I would've picked New Orleans for the Bargain Game, and I would've left the treadmill and accessories alone in Race Game and switched the other two.

SN: You had James as a model for the day instead of Amber.

Glad 3 Strikes finally showed up.  Too bad it was lost though.

Besides that though, $53,416 sounds awfully familiar from last season, as I thought there was a car (specifically a Jaguar) with that exact same price in the exact same game...

2 of the 4 Playings of 3X last season used the Same 5 Numbers , $63,415 and $64,351. There was a Jaguar that was played for in this game last season, but it had a different price all together , $41,583

Looks like $53,416 was used for a Lexus GS350 in 3X on episode 6171k (OAD 10/15/12). I guess with enough playing with options you could get a repeat price.

Great to see Pass The Buck today, one of my favorite games. And at least the contestant got more than one pick.

Also, it had been a while since I'd seen such a poor playing of Race Game.

They are stuck in making the first number very difficult by clumping 3-6 together. Literally every playing has had someone fall for 3 1st, so I would bet 3 will forever be in the game from now on. Maybe 4 as well as for the most part cars are now at least 51k.

They honestly could afford to lighten up on the price difficulty with 3 strikes in the bag... but it did seem to matter today, so they won't.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

So...um...what was this show?  Did they, like, forget they were doing a sixth episode of Dream Car Week or something?  I thought I was surprised when they did 3 Strikes just three days after that insane Triple Play, but I never in a million years would have dreamed that they'd also put a Mercedes in the Showcase.  I'm not complaining about this, mind you, but wow was that crazy.

I'm still not sure how Barker's Bargain Bar was lost.  I thought it was pretty obvious that New Orleans was going to be the more expensive trip.

I've seen a fair few people spin themselves into the floor over the years, but I'm pretty sure Christopher's the first one I've ever seen brace himself for it and bounce right back up.

The recap can't really do justice to how messed up Race Game was.  Nora had three different prices on the television during the course of her second turn despite ultimately not changing it even though it had to be wrong, and she damn near won on her last turn before suddenly switching to a guess that made much less sense.  I know things can get stressful on that stage, but this was hard to watch.
