Kenneth really should've taken BOTH of his other two rolls to get the car.
I think the only thing that would've made it worse though would be if he had bailed with a $500 cube instead of $1,500.  That would be like bailing with $100 in Punch a Bunch when it is literally the least you can win (unless you completely screw up the SP portion of the game, in which case you get nothing since you don't get any free punches)

I was at the taping of today's show.  Kenneth had a car that he was happy with.  He did not want to risk the 2 rolls and get $500 or $1,000.
I got to live my lifelong dream on December 19, 2023.

I noticed that the price tags in Magic # have a newer font! Now all that hasn't been played this season is Golden Road and Stack The Deck!

Good show today with a Good Game Lineup as well.

What happened to Kenneth is almost similar to a what happened to a Contestant years ago ( They took $1,000 in Gas Money after One Pick )
I think Kenneth is the 1st Contestant to bailout in Let em Roll With 4 Cars and 2 Rolls Remaining ( Need Confirmation on this )

What a dumb bailout in Let em Roll! Now we'll never know if Kenneth would've gotten the fifth car on his last two rolls.

It's not a DUMB decision; because as previously posted, he owned a car he was satisfied with and the money was enough of a win to make him happy. Some questions don't need to be answered.

Honestly, I probably would probably have went on, tried to get the last die face to reveal a car and then sold the car (since I don't like what's basically a base-model Nissan Versa).

But it's his decision, not ours to make.

I guess that's what makes this game fascinating ... you see people make all kinds of crazy, "what the hell" decisions ... but if it's best for them, then more power to him.

So are you proposing a "let's just see what would have happened" type of scenario?

I agree -- yes, it's head scratching, but it's also his decision, not ours to make.

In a case like Let 'em Roll today, could the player theoretically give back the four cars and roll for more money if they wanted, even if it is a completely unorthodox strategy?

No he can’t. The object of the game is to win the car.

Happy with current car or not, just strange to see someone bail with $1,500 and four car cubes with 2 rolls left. Too bad he wasn't playing Spelling Bee, he could've had $5,000 without doing a thing if he got the 3 SPs correct.

So still no change in the gameplay for Magic Number, and the only set change was in the price tags.

Magic # is a hard game to set up with the $5,000 minimum in winnings for pricing games. Realistically they should start setting up Magic # with a $2000 minimum on the left side.
