I never would've gotten that It's in the Bag setup either, and Pathfinder was pretty tough as well. But I enjoyed the last-minute Any Number win, which was the highlight of the show.

Always sucks to have a show end in a Double-Overbid.

That's generally what it seems like.
I wonder if they've ever had the right price near the top though (like in the top $150 of the $600 range)

Range Game: Hit the button with the range in the middle, win a prize!

But in all fairness, there's a lot of games that have an unwritten rule like that.
Cliff Hangers: The $20-$30-$45 game.
Bonkers: If the number is above 5, go lower; if below 5, go higher; at 5, coin flip. The first number is the exception on this.
Check Game: write a check for about $1500, win a prize.
Now or Then: 4 Nows, 2 Thens.
There's more, anyone watching for a while knows them. It's why the LFaTs still do well.

I wonder what caused the last-minute rush out with Drew's microphone from the wrong direction?  You could tell from the minute Drew walked out of the doors, he was looking around like, "uh, where's the model with the mike?"  It was nice that they left that in and just kept moving along.

Also: if a trip is offered in Coming or Going it's almost always going as in: "going on a trip"  ;-)

Building on what you said:
-Ten Chances: 0 rule (prices always end in 0)
-Safe Crackers: 0 rule also
-Golden Road (sorta): When in doubt past the second digit (the first guessed digit), go 5 (and DO NOT EVER GUESS 0)
-Spelling Bee: Always guess at least $10 on the SPs; guessing less than that (for example, $5) wastes part of the range (in this case, you'd basically be saying that you think the price is somewhere between NEGATIVE $5 and positive $15)
-Rat Race: guess $200 on the last item, win a rat (that prize has never been more than $300 or less than $100 from what I know); again, less than $100 wastes the (in this case VERY generous ) range
-Magic Number: Set the number to somewhere between like $2,500 and $4,000 (should mostly work)

A number never appears twice in either of the first two prices.

Wait I just realized I accidentally put Golden Road instead of what I meant to put, Lucky $even

Fixed my mistake to say Lucky $even instead of Golden Road
