I'm glad they finally played Golden Road.  Too bad it was a wipeout though.

Nice win in That's Too Much.
Golden Road finally out of hibernation.
The crowd really thought $463 was the correct price for that game package.

I wonder if they placed the video game package behind the door, instead of a turntable, so the audience couldn't see the 5 included games. The games alone were worth $400, yet there were several immediate shouts of "4", and unless they edited the audio, next to no shouts of 7. Drew even seemed to hesitate the reveal for a last minute change of mind, but the silence from the audience really sunk this playing.

Shame that Golden Road was wiped out in its first playing of the season. But that win in That's Too Much! (another game that has not been won too often) more than made up for it.

Nice to finally see Golden Road but ugh, a wipeout. Very deflating way to start the show. 7 was a pretty obvious choice, it was pretty strange that it seemed that just about every audience member was saying 4.

It was weird seeing Squeeze Play and Freeze Frame back-to-back but they were both pretty easy. That's Too Much being won is definitely a plus as well.

Couldn't blame Dana for passing up on $2,500 after the first punch, but obviously it would've been the right move in hindsight.

I would think that since there's no IUFB under $500 any more that there's no way any other 3-digit prize on the stage would be under $500. That call from the audience made no sense. Nice one on TTM to make up for it though.

The cake maker in Punch a Bunch was $190 and that's less then $500

More to the point, isn't it an unwritten rule that, on the three-digit prize in Golden Road, the more expensive possible choice is usually the correct one?

It's always nice to see That's Too Much! won. Shame about Golden Road though. I wish you could get an XBOX One S and all those game for a little under $500!

Yeah, but that is technically a Small Prize item, and not really a lower-end medium item.

Anyways, $300 +$40*5=$500, so brand new I don't understand the audience. Unless they all buy used video games, but then w/e.

More to the point, isn't it an unwritten rule that, on the three-digit prize in Golden Road, the more expensive possible choice is usually the correct one?
Looking on Scorpz's site, not necessarily. Can it be evil? Heck yes. 7333K of Season 44 had kitchen appliances for $596 with a 59 cent taco seasoning.

I don't know how to view this episode. Yay for 4/6, but boo for that wipeout.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

What about one where the lower number wasn’t the obvious choice?

You mean the two-digit price was 59 cents, and the first prize was x96? It would have to be the 5, because numbers never duplicate. It couldn't be 996.

Yay for someone winning That's Too Much! The contestant, to me, at least, seemed a little annoying, but I was rooting for him since he was from Walla Walla, Washington, only about 45 minutes from my hometown.

Too bad about the wipeout in Golden Road though.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.
