Great episode, Drew was having a blast, and I can't wait to see that bowling game next year that Drew requested.

Easy Do the Math, I think Cassidy just didn't really understand it.

Not sure why Corletta kept the first number at higher each guess in Bonkers. Besides the 5, all the numbers followed the odds.

The pasta was a somewhat easy first item to place in Hole in One and the peas were definitely next, but I was thinking cat treats third also. I was surprised the vinegar wasn't more. The shave cream and tarnish remover were a toss-up for the item to place last. At least she made the putt!

Suddenly, that Moon Over Parma cue starts to play in my head!

Bouncing shots that go in the hole are always fun to watch (almost as much as the center slot being hit in Plinko), and only in Hole in One do you get to see that. Nice recovery from the first two games: Do the Math was pretty much evil, and Bonkers wasn't any better.

This was a wonderful show.

Plinko AND Hole in One in one lineup? Plus Bonkers, Line 'Em Up, and Flip Flop? They got every "contestant interacts with the prop" game they could, plus Do the Math.

Drew was also on fire with his hosting today--he was having a ball with the contestants. He had great cracks about needing to invent a bowling game, the crack about James, about everything. Do The Math in particular was a blast to watch in spite of the loss--he cared about the contestant, he cared about the prizes, and he had great patter keeping the game exciting. And to think that was one of the "boring" games in this lineup! This wasn't Drew playing games and getting through the show--this was Drew making stars out of Kenneth the retiree and Cassidy the Texas girl who hates math and Nayiri who's having the luckiest day ever...

This one was a keeper for sure. Also, Kenneth was such a fun contestant to watch.

hmm.bowling game..eh...Super Ball anyone ???

I can see Drew having a blast with the Super Ball prop. I'd love to see the crew try to make it work.

Barring that, I'd also be totally fine with Car Pong coming to TPIR as a full-fledged pricing game--It recycles the fun of Super Ball but with the advantages of being faster paced and doesn't require going back and forth between the pricing and the ball-throwing.

"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

For a bowling game, you could set up the "pins" like the 3-6-10 in bowling ... with the car as the 10-pin in back.  Have small prizes and get a roll for each one correct.  Even if you don't win all three rolls, you could still win the car by having the front pins knock the car pin over.  Something like that.

Or how about a shuffleboard-type game like what you see at a bar or arcade ... with circles or marks to aim at for prizes.

Could even combine those two ideas into a game.

Fixed that for you.
