Great 5/6 show today! Shame Gridlock cost us the perfect show.

Yeah, barring Plinko's rules on what actually constitutes a win, pretty interesting how the show's newest pricing game basically prevented a perfect show today. Kinda wonder now when the last time that happened.

(And for the record, personally I'd consider Plinko a 'win' when the 10K slot is hit.)

Only way for it to be a full loss is for the player to lose on all four small prizes, then drop their one free chip into a $0...

Actually, you can win all 5 chips and drop each of them into $0 and it would still be considered a loss.

Small prizes have no effect on partial wins.

You see, this is why you have no reason to stay with only one die left. At the very worst, you lose 1K, but the expected value is positive.

Actually at the worst you lose $500 (as you will roll something, $500 being the minimum, if you don't get the car side to come up).

And in addition to winning the car you also have a chance to get more $ ($1500) if you don't get the car, so 5 of 6 sides are equal to or better than what you have.

If there's a show with Plinko in its lineup, then it's not possible to have a pure perfect show. That is, unless all five chips hit the center slot, and we all know that is has never happened due to the randomness of the game.

But I agree that the Gridlock! wipeout was a downer.
