Is it me or did it seem like the model filling in for Holly, didn't want to be there that day.
It look like she was camera shy when they did close up shots of her.

This was the first show without Holly after she took her sabbatical, and I notice they did not introduce her. Do you think they were trying to keep it quiet, hoping the audience wouldn't notice the change? They actually did that for a while when Anitra was out.

I think they put the model in a wig to make her look as much like Holly as they could. Maybe she didn't like the way she looked in it?

I think that model was actually blonde, and she is the same model on beat the clock. I think her name is Cindy.

That guest model really was made up to look like Holly.  I had to blink twice to make sure it wasn't her.

They obviously were trying to downplay Holly's departure.  At the end of Most Expensive, not only does Bob not do a chat with the models, but the camera pans across Janice and Dian but doesn't make it to the third model.  They also avoided close-ups of her in that showcase skit.

I well remember this era of the show.  Somebody wrote to my local newspaper, asking "Where's Holly?"  (The reply was that she'd left the show to pursue an acting career.)

When did the theme from Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour debut on TPIR as the prize reveal cue for Superball?  I know they were using it by late '84.

^Starcrossed was still used on January 25, 1984 (#5173D). The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour theme was in place by October 15, 1985 (#5842D).
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.
