TPG 1/2/18 - RESULTS
« on: January 02, 2018, 01:51:35 PM »
Little housekeeping first - because the trip to Argentina's value is not officially known, we took an average of the range that he thought it would be, which gave us a value of $11,045 to use for today's purpose. Any issues, send him your angry PMs, not me.  :-)

No key games today - only game picked by less than five people was Ten Chances, which was picked by no one at all. Also quick note to Cephas, not sure if you used the spoilers or not, but because Push Over and Clock Game were locked for today, they needed to be marked as a 1, and therefore, could not be used for a play along pick.

This week of shows' pot was added to last week to give us a total of almost $750,000, congratulations to Schfifty for cashing in on that. Since Friday is spoiled out, and I still want to get more games in this season, plan on playing this Thursday.

Nice pick Thupa. If only you paid attention to spoilers!
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Unfortunately, I missed the original post in the spoilers thread, and because there was no reminder in the post for this game, I did not know.

Spoilers? What spoilers? I don't see anything, but then again, I sent picks at 2AM, so I am honestly surprised I got saved by Cliff did so well.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it. Time to cry in a corner.

"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Normally don't do quite this well but hands down, my best game in my four-year tenure playing FPG. Highest cash total in a game, lucky PA pick, four correct games and slots/results, a whopping 16 MP, and a win to top it off. :-)
