Missed this show due to pre emption (blizzard coverage) and it doens't look like I missed much. Was there anything to make it stand out, because the results sure don't look promising by themselves.

I've never been keen on seeing That's Too Much as an opening game. I think it fits better second or fifth.

Well, at least this was not an El Skunko, as the Switch? win prevented that fate.

This isn't the first time there's been confusion about which button is which in Hot Seat. Can't they put stickers on the buttons or below them that say "Higher" and "Lower" or even just up and down arrows just so it's totally clear which button is which? I'm surprised they didn't let Lauren change her pick on the ice shaver or give it to her since she definitely wanted to say lower and hit the wrong button thinking it was the one she wanted, it wasn't like she just changed her mind because of what the audience said.
Anyway, the ice shaver, weather device, and kettle were easy, but the toothbrush and food processor were toss-ups.

Tough One Wrong Price- the refrigerator looked too high and the pool table too low at the displayed prices.

They do.  You can see them in the first picture here:

Based on the picture, it seems to me like the higher and lower buttons are in the wrong order.  Following the logic of a number line, lower numbers are to the left.

Thanks. I had to look up close but I do see them. They might want to enlarge them or put something on the buttons themselves.

Between George's greeting, Cover Up, and the Showcase, it's really obvious this show was intended to air on Tuesday.

Where in God's name did they find that shampoo in Pick-a-Pair?  I would never in a million years have thought that would be so cheap.

I love that the Item up for Bids for Switch? was a Switch. :)

In most any store - Suave in general is a cheaper brand - in fact the original one (rather than this for men type) in the small bottle is often closer to $1 than $2.  V05 is another brand that tends to be on the cheap end.

V05, yes, but I don't ever remember seeing Suave that cheap.
