Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek has surgery, show production suspended

  From what I read on a couple of webpages this evening, longtimeJeopardy! host Alex Trebek had surgery last month before Christmas to remove some blood clots from his brain caused from a fall he suffered in October and tapings of the show have now been briefly suspended. The surgery went well and his prognosis is excellent and Trebek expects to be back at work very soon. Trebek is now in his 34th season hosting the longtime popular answer and question show. Just wanted to let all of you know and you check out his statement on this on the show's webpage at Jeopardy.com as well as on the show's Facebook page and on YouTube.
