So far, all shows for this week have had the Showcase loser go over. At least 10 Chances wasn't ruined by those stupid bids this time.

Pretty tough Pick a Pair. I thought she had it with the cheese and conditioner, but the iced tea mix was my next guess for $6.99. I wouldn't have guessed the cheese was $6.99 though.

I was pretty sure Stay was the correct choice for Switch? $4,300 seemed too expensive for the refrigerator.

Other than the two non-0 ending guesses and the $250 guess, a well played 10 Chances.

I didn't see any "stupid bids". If you've never seen the show or the game, how would you know everything ends in 0? In fact, the worse bid (still not stupid) to me was the $250 guess, and that ended in 0!

10 Chances! One of my favorite games! Great to see it again, and great to see the auto won. I was worried that David might lose the Kia because of his 19608 guess, since there were only six reasonable Kia prices with those digits (considering the zero rule) and he had six chances to win it. But he got it with one chance to spare. (Whew. :) )

Smart Punch-A-Bunch decision today.

Contestants like David are the reason why I will probably never become a repeat TPIR contestant.  8-O

Phil Rossi had much different criteria for selecting contestants in 1996--that's for sure.

So, following up from my Trip Report post in November, my buddy Geronimo made it down to Contestant's Row, got an exacta for his 1-bid and won $5000 on Punch-a-Bunch! He still can't believe he was called to Come On Down! He just received his small prizes but not the 1-bid prize or his cash. Thankfully this is reported on 2018's taxes so he can save up! Haha.

I really liked how both George and Drew thanked and acknowledged the crew on stage and behind-the-scenes during the taping. Fun fact: they have to remove the "10" from the 10 Chances logo so the game can fit through the big doors!

A very, very memorable trip to Studio 33. Until next time!

That might explain why they've had at least 3 different "10" signs on the game since the remodel (or at least painted it 3 different times).  Blue on white, Blue on yellow, and I think green on yellow.  All that on again, off again must be taking its toll.
