Nice playing of Pass the Buck. Proves every once and a while, you need to "buck" the odds

Pass the Buck was easily the highlight of the day, with the car and the maximum possible amount being won to go along with it ($8,000).

I knew it was going to happen eventually: another Double-Overbid!

Gutsy move to go for the car in Pass the Buck that paid off. Nice to see the contestant rewarded for a well-played game.

Incidentally, how often has that happened in the past? Not necessarily risking the maximum amount to go for the car, win or lose, but that the maximum announced prize was won (the car and $8,000).

A very low amount won in Plinko is quite the disappointing way to start the show and of course that was bookended by the double overbid to end it. At least Lucky $even was the only other disappointment.

Very odd to see 0 guessed in Lucky $even. I was a little surprised the last number wasn't 9, but 8 is obviously almost as bad.

Excellent playing of Pass the Buck! Easy GPs but still it's quite impressive to win not just the car and $8,000 as well.

In recent seasons they've done a good job of varying the slots of certain types of games throughout the week. That makes Tuesday and this lineup (SP/cash 1st, common car 3rd, MP/moderate game 4th, GP/car 5th) very bizarre.

It's really impressive Buck has now been exacta'd twice. I would have thought it never would have happened because going for it on $8000 is quite insane.

They've been fishing for a DOB all this week and got it. Brutal that the SCs are getting controlled more and more often like that.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

In all practical senses, the only way to get a MAX WIN in Pass The Buck is to do exactly what was done today - pick the maximum $5000 and $3000, and then risk it and pick the car.

In any other scenario, if the player picked the car first or second, the game ended right there.  At least, I don't ever recall having seen a player keep picking numbers after selecting the car.

I faintly remember that on Dream Car Week, after the Maserati was won, Drew prompted to contestant to answer if they wanted to play for more cash. Although, come on, there is literally no reason to play after you won the car unless you really wanted the money. However, I do appreciate the option that is appearently there.

Also, this show certainly didn't feel like a 4/6 to me. Felt a bit worse with that low Plinko, and the double over in BOTH SCSD #2 and the Showcases.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

I don't normally criticize Drew's hosting these days, but he really missed the mark in the first Showcase Showdown, when Angela was celebrating her trip to the Showcase even though nobody had won yet and he didn't even appear to notice her.  The fact that the other contestant had to tell her they were tied was really weird.

Mind you, this is an anomaly these days, but it was a major anomaly.

Speaking of Angela, I know she was listening to her husband, but it's hard to be sad she didn't ultimately win the Showcase Showdown after she lost Lucky $even by picking a 0.

Shopping Spree was practically a forced win.  There was no way any of the other prizes were less expensive than the dishwasher.

Pass the Buck was incredible television.  There's no way I'd have had the guts to take that third turn if I'd already won $8,000.
