Another episode where we were headed for an El Skunko, only to get a :dsw: in the end! Kudos to Emmanuel for pulling it off!

A lackluster show , until Emmanuel pulls off the 4th DSW of the season.
The total number of games won on shows with a DSW this season ( excluding bailouts and partial wins of any kind ) is 3.

Pick-a-Number seemed to be only game that was a "gimme" win today. Side by Side was a bit devious with the 99, but the the rule of thumb for international trips seems to be they all float around $10,000 now (unless there's something in the prize description that suggests it's not coach travel, or a luxury suite, then it could have easily been $14,000). Check Out was just played poorly, and a car win would have been only on pure luck, because those prices were not user friendly.

Another double showcase was nice. A (very) random nit-pic... the turntable isn't DS celebration friendly. Seems like anytime a contestant wants to jump for joy, or make a quick escape to the prizes, there's a hesitation as if the contestant was warned to be careful and not break something.
"It's a SuperBall prize package worth $11,245!!

I think $47,674 is the lowest grand total ever attached to a DSW in a long time.

I think $47,674 is the lowest grand total ever attached to a DSW in a long time.

Lowest since $37,897 on February 24, 2009, almost ten years ago. Everyone since then has managed to win higher than that. Also to note out of the four this season none of them have won their PG.

Was today's Costa Rica trip the most expensive prize ever offered in Side by Side? I'm thinking it has to be close at least.

Genuine feel-good moment for me today: seeing Emmanuel's double showcase win. You know he's a Price fan based on his shirt, and I actually smiled broadly and applauded watching his reaction. :-)
