Chalk this one up for a big fat disappointment. The $1 million Plinko and doubled cash values in It's in the Bag were some great ideas, and it's nice to see the first-ever $2,000 win on the Big Wheel.

The $1 million Plinko and doubled cash values in It's in the Bag were some great ideas
Take. That. Back.  :-P Million Dollar Plinko should eventually backfire. Bag was a good idea in my mind, but the presentation of the double value was eh. Wish I could say that that won't happen again, but honestly, I don't see them making a new sign besides $100K Half, which already has a $25K and $100K (And $20K signs I believe).
This whole show has been things that have already seen.

-Evil 9 ending in L7
-Flopped Flip Flop
-BIG MONEY Plinko stinks for the 6th? time
-The 1-2-3 rule in OWP, just with 4-5-6 (And 5k cash, which made her the biggest winner in the half)

-A FREAKING RANDOM $54K SHOWCASE THAT IS GOING TO... actually help my score in CSS. That's how bad I am in this game.

"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Million dollar Plinko did backfire. She won 0.5% of the advertised prize.

I've said it before, but Million Dollar Plinko with a $200,000 center slot is one of the most grotesque things in the history of this show. Year after year they do it, and year after year it backfires hilariously. It's modern TPIR's best example of manufacturing a big moment instead of letting it happen organically, and the big moment they manufactured still hasn't even happened.

The only thing "wrong" with Plinko, big money or not, is most contestants just toss the chips haphazardly down the board. The most successful players have proven that careful placement, and the right release for speed, will get you in, or very close to the center slot (and yes, allowing for the fact the chips do have minds of their own on occasion, and bounce wildly regardless of placement). Doesn't matter if it's $50,000 or $1 million, the majority of players literally just throw their chips away. This isn't a backfire, it's smart producing. They know $1 million Plinko during Sweeps week will draw eyes and get people talking about the show, and it won't cost the budget that much because of consistently inept play.
"It's a SuperBall prize package worth $11,245!!
