It's nice to see a streak of closest on the showcases than having one of both overbid.

That TTM playing was fun and enjoyable to watch.
The last time someone placed an X where Shenara placed hers today in Secret X was Season 44 ( where it happened twice and both times the contestants won )

I guess hell is freezing over, because That's Too Much! (of all things) was the only game won today.

I mean, placing the first X in the middle wasn't the greatest move, but definitely not 100% horrible. But having to ask the audience where she should place her second X, was nothing more than clueless. It's moments like that where I'm completely rooting FOR her loss.

When you place the first "X" in the center row, you're not giving yourself much of a chance to win.

My strategy is always place one in the corner, then upon winning the next two, placing the other one in the opposite side corner to (possibly) create a diagonal tic-tac-toe, then the other in either the top or bottom rows.

I saw the back of Garrett's shirt where it showed that his grandmother was on TPIR on September 15, 1992! I actually found her episode on YouTube. Her name was Sheryl, and she won a wall unit in Pick A Number! Also won her showcase containing a picnic basket, bedroom and motorcycles! With the artwork that she won in contestants' row, Sheryl won a total of $25,205!

Tough Swap Meet, it was a toss-up between the rower and the smoker.

Not sure why Shenara placed the free X in a middle square and then asked where should she put her earned X.

One Right Price was pretty easy, $4,300 was too much for the washer and dryer.

That's Too Much I thought was a bit easier than normal. Glad that Garrett won. Also glad that others were able to see the back of his shirt. I was hoping Drew would say something about it and they would show a clip of his grandmother.

Not the easiest Time is Money. The oil could've been in the middle or right, cookies on the left or middle, and the pasta in the middle or right. The oatmeal and detergent were the only two givens.

I strongly disagree, if only because using the middle row makes the third X utterly irrelevant.

The two yellow squares in the middle are (and always have been) little more than traps, a fact that Barker would hint at when telling players to "Place that [free X] where you think it would be the most helpful."

The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

I only say that because even though it is essentially terrible strategy; the game is still winnable, if the Secret X is in the center. She very nearly made it 100% horrible by placing her second and final X in the upper corner. Drew practically told her, somewhat under his breath where to place her second X, before she won it, yet she still had to ask where she should place it. I had zero sympathy for her by that point.

I remember at least in his last few seasons he would practically tell the contestant to place the free X in one of the corners, and I think at least a few times he stopped a contestant and had them place the X in a corner space when they tried to place it in the middle-left or middle-right.

That seems very telling that they must be in "budget" mode if Drew didn't discourage placing the X in that spot.  Why they even have those two spots available is so frustrating to me.

Another 1/6 show.  Seems there's not been a whole lot of winning :-\
