Tough luck for the Cubs. They lose both tiebreaker games on their home field while losing by a combined 3 runs in the process.

They only lost ONE Tiebreaker game NOT TWO.

Tough tough loss for the Cubs, I was pretty surprised the Rockies won since they had to play 3 games in 3 days in 3 different time zones. Cubs just got flat at the end of the season though. I think the Rockies beat the Brewers in the NLDS.

MLB will be panicking if the Yankees lose tonight with them and the Cubs eliminated, eliminating the two marquee teams.

What about the Red Sox? Are they a marquee team?

Another Yankees-Red Sox postseason series is on tap, and it's also a must-see event. The other three LDS series are:

Astros vs. Indians
Brewers vs. Rockies
Dodgers vs. Braves

May the best teams win!

Atlanta has not won a game 1 in the NLDS since 2001, the latest show of futility in last night's Dodger 6-0 win. Clayton Kershaw will steal the Braves' lunch money tonight.

Up 2-0:
Dodgers over Braves
Brewers over Rockies
Astros over Indians

Tied 1-1:
Red Sox and Yankees

Another fine win by the Astros well-deserved.

Braves will see a game four: Ronald Acuña and Freddie Freeman go deep for Atlanta in a 6-5 win.

Astros sweep the Indians to advance as well- Indians, Braves, and the Redskins all lose on Columbus Day.

What a game 3 for the Red Sox- 16 runs including Brock Holt hitting the first cycle in postseason history and the Yankees with their other-worldly bullpen having a backup catcher pitch the 9th. Yankees on the ropes.

Wish I could be as bad at my job as Angel Hernandez is at his and sue my employer when I don't get rewarded. What an embarrassment.
