Ladies & Gentlemen, the Yankee$ have left the building.  xlx

That sets these as the league championship series matchups.

ALCS
Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros (My hometown team!)

NLCS
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Good luck to all four of these remaining teams in their quest to win the World Series.

I predict that it will be an Astros v. Brewers World Series. If it's Dodgers v. Red Sox, I will NEVER watch it.

All we can do is wait and see.
H-town is fired up on this world series; odds are they might just make it for the second year in a row...but will it be enough to score two wins in a row? Only time will tell...

I predict that it will be an Astros v. Brewers World Series.
If it is, it would be an interesting matchup, because both teams would be the only two to switch leagues so far (Milwaukee was an AL team until 1998, and Houston was an NL team until 2013). The Brewers and Astros went to the World Series once, and lost, while they were members of their respective old leagues (to the Cardinals in 1982, and the White Sox in 2005, respectively), but the Astros got their redemption by defeating the Dodgers last year.

Well, that first inning of Boston-Houston game 4 was interesting. Jose Altuve had a home run taken away thanks to fan interference causing Boston RF Mookie Betts to miss the catch of the ball. Umpire Joe West wasn’t even sure what to call it until it was subject to replay.

It's OFFICIAL. The World Series match-up will be the Boston Red Sox vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers. I said to myself that I will NEVER watch the World Series when that happens, well, it is happening and whether you like it or not, watch it or not, this will be the WORST. World. Series. EVER. #notmyworldseries #boycottworldseries #fakeworldseries

It's NOT Official yet, as of the time I'm writing this 10:22 PM EDT on Saturday October 20th, 2018. The Dodgers lead the Brewers 5-1 in the top of the 7th inning. I only consider it official when the game is over.

Rooting for the Red Sox. The Dodgers have too many bush league players.

Then, watch that lame World Series, anyway. This is rigged. Dodgers play with their dirty tricks in Game 7 of NLCS while Red Sox showed no mercy to Astros in ALCS. I would watch the World Series had the Brewers or the Astros made it, but this is what they wanted, putting money and bribery over the spirit of baseball.

Just stop please. Nothing is rigged. Boston was the best team all year and the Dodgers took advantage of poor play from the Brewers.

you just hate that your teams lost

do we need a baseball version of that "everyone cheats" link of NFL's teams?

(edit) plus if it was all about the money, the Yankees would be in it

Then, watch that boring and lame World Series, anyway. The Dodgers and the Red Sox are too hungry for power.
