People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

How long has it been since the last time Clock Game was wiped out? Linda had the price of the iPods within her reach, but could not quite get to it (she said $818 on one occasion and $820 on another, but never $819). Yay to the gutsy move on Let em Roll, but boo to the last-second loss in Pathfinder.

Just a painful Clock Game. Linda just danced around the price and nerves got the best of her.

Christopher got tricked up by an evil setup with the Oxi Clean and oatmeal but thanks to getting four cars on the first roll he still won!

Painful Pathfinder too. Getting two out of the three SPs wrong is a recipe for disaster unforuntately, even if you're able to get to the last number of the car price.

$5,092 was fairly easy to guess in Freeze Frame, the other prices were either too low or too high.

5/19/2017. That was a way to lose a PlayStation VR bundle because the contestant heard $800 as "higher" when it was lower.

Kudos to getting LEET in Shopping Spree, and Clock Game showing up. It's been a while for those two games. Roll was pretty good also.

But a Clock wipeout?
Pathy lost on the last digit FOR THE THIRD TIME THIS SEASON?
A sub $5k guess on Freeze?

Just 3 unfortunate events happened, and all are understandable. It just happens sometimes.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

So the lesson I've learned from these past few weeks is that for roughly the same amount of money, you can take a trip to Belize or a trip to Cape Cod. I know which one I'd pick.

Also, Clock Game was horrid. What should be a cake walk for most people turned into a hot mess.

Yay to the gutsy move on Let em Roll,

There was absolutely nothing to lose by taking the second roll - at worst Christopher would have re-rolled (and taken home) the $500.
So this is the "get off of my lawn" stage of my life.  I'm not impressed.

Not that Christopher would've thought about this or it really did factor in, but there was a big stir earlier this season when someone took a not very high amount of money rather than rolling again when they had the car within pretty easy grasp. Even if Christopher didn't win the car the worst he would've gotten was what he had at hand.

Indeed-- although one pretty good thing came out of it, IMO: Drew's way of commiserating that loss ("I am crushed...like ice!"). I know that Bob is usually deemed the king of commiseration of painful losses (at least IINM), but Drew seems to have had some pretty creative ways of such things lately (also IMO).
