Starting with this MDS, there are no more themes; instead, there are now memories from the show's first (then) 33 years chronicled in a scrapbook. Also, the series also shares the daytime show's curtains and Turntable walls.

No way in hell was Lucky Seven going to be lost that night.

I'm surprised they played it for such an expensive car and not 3 Strikes, though. I guess since it was the first time an XLR was going to be offered on the show, they wanted it won.

Also noteworthy is that both Showcase participants had won $1,000 each on the Big Wheel, making this the first MDS to have Million-Dollar Spins in both SCSDs.
