Stack the Deck has a reputation, and a rough one at that.  This is the hardest game to win on The Price is Right.  I can't remember the last time it was won.

I agree that Stack the Deck was really difficult.

Not a bad gamble on Spelling Bee, it just backfired on Rachel in the end.

I think Stack the Deck and That's Too Much! will be the next games to be retired, because no one ever seems to win them.

Wow, double-OT spins! It's been a while since the last time it came down to that.

Ruby is cute, and I loved how she said "A NEW CAR!!!" for the Fusion in the second Showcase.

Why would we be wondering? If you watched the show, you saw what she picked as Drew revealed them. Even if you didn't watch, the order is up above in the review graphic.

I disagree. Stack the Deck was reasonable today. Just unfortunate Angela picked the easy digits to stack instead of the last three digits.

That's Too Much is not going to be retired any time soon. It's useful because it's quick, has fun interaction, and it's one of the most frequent pricing games on the show, even if it has a generally bigger loss ratio.

I agree that it was a reasonable setup.  But it had a Cover Up moment with Angela focusing too much on the first and second digits.

On a slight tangent though.  Plinko is statistically the hardest game to win. It's rough statistics are 1/944,784 (1/16 playing the first half right to get all 5 chips and 1/59,049 of dropping all 5 chips in the 10k slot.) Technically speaking and many know this, Plinko and Bullseye I are the only two pricing games to never be considered "won".
Plinko is the worst game the show ever made.

It was won exactly once in the calendar year of 2017.

EDIT: Twice, apparently.

I also thought today's Stack The Deck set up was reasonable, at least. The product choices were easy to me. I would have gotten all three correct and chosen the last three digits as the free ones. Then I basically would have had a 50-50 chance at the Toyota; I figured it was $24K or $25K.

I've been a regular Price viewer for quite a while, and if my memory serves me, I haven't seen all four Contestant's Row bids in the four-hundreds for a long, long time (Fifth IUFB). Not to say it hasn't actually happened more recently. :)

Not sure what the right answer is, but there are some assumptions built in that make this calculation pretty useless.

Not sure what the right answer is, but there are some assumptions built in that make this calculation pretty useless.

It's a very rough stat. It's basing only on (1/2)^4 of the first half and (1/9)^5 for the second half.

There would be more complex calculations when it comes factoring in things like: Where on the board the contestant dropped the chip, every conceivable path a chip could take at each slot and peg, friction, momentum, slope of the board, etc.

Even if it improves the rough stat Plinko would very likely still be the most difficult to win.

Plinko is the worst game the show ever made.
