Card Game was certainly a gimme, and I'm glad the car was won.

As for the other car game, Gridlock!, it's now back-to-back wipeouts for that game.

Why on Earth did Lauren think that trip to Ecuador was less than $4,000? The same thing can be said for Randy picking $10,000 for the kitchen appliances in Double Prices.

And Julius never had a chance in Take Two, lowballing the target on both tries. He had one correct prize on each chance, but failed to put them together.

I just hope it doesn't become something like Gas Money and get wiped out too often.

Something interesting happened during Gridlock! that could have required a technical win.

As Drew asked Kayla to make her choice for the first car, he presented them as they would appear in the actual car price ($22,300 something, $21,500 something, or $23,200 something) as well as 23, 15, and 32.

She clearly chose the 15 first.

Then, Drew repeated the remaining two options - 23 or 32, and $22,300 or $23,200.

Kayla picked 88 (which was rejected but would have been interesting if she was playing Money Game), and then said "23".

Did she mean the car with 23 on it, or the $23,000 car price which would in fact be the 32 car?

I suppose since she didn't protest too much the right car was picked, but the show should be more careful to not set up confusing car prices that might accidentally lead to technical wins.

Can you believe it, 3 times in a row where a contestant got down to 2 boxes in 1/2 off and lost.  At least Carol winning Card Game prevented a skunking.

Half Off: I think Mike wanted this lost.  Two of those rows of SPs were total tossups...the hair dryer could have been $78.  The last row was hard too.  I'm happy that Daniel swept a very tough SP segment but too bad about picking the wrong box.  It was a tough decision between 4 and 12.  The box psychology when it came to the 50:50 shot came into play.  I took 4 too along with Daniel.  Tough loss.

Bonkers: I kinda questioned Lauren on putting the paddle down on the first number.  I pegged the combination on HLHH but it was a total guess.

Take Two: I cringed on Julius' second chance: I had a feeling when he eliminated the bags on the second chance he was done for.  Not that I did any better I chose the bags and the computer.

Even more simply, how many times do contestants seem to avoid simply trying the odds?  In this case 3 of 4 were with the odds and the 4th (the 5) is a toss up since it's in the middle, so try it both ways and in 2 chances (max) you'd have the winning answer.

It's not always that way (like some games have an always setting like a zero ending or such) but it seems at least worth a shot that it doesn't seem to often get.
